Finn McCool is a man, a warrior, a giant of great myth and folklore. Legend has it that good old Finn built the Giant's Causeway as a stepping stone to Scotland, so as not to get his feet wet. Rumour also has it that Finn never died and currently lives underground in a cave. A closer source actually filled me in that his cave lies conveniently beneath Folklore Restaurant - he just can't get enough of that food.
Grab some food that will soon become stuff of myth and legend for just £12 for two main courses and two drinks (soft drink or glass of house wine) at Folklore Restaurant, Belfast. Not bad for a meal that usually costs £24.20.
Folklore Restaurant provides you with a dining experience like no other. With individually hand painted tables (each with a different design and story) combined with the best in local produce, homemade recipes and top service; you'll understand why every visit can that little bit more special.
In terms of the food, it's hard to choose from this tasty. The stuffed chicken breast served with roast peppers, grilled courgettes and goat cheese topped with a creamy brandy and mushroom sauce with a choice of side seems just the ticket to my hungry ways. See the full list of main courses here.
Getting to and from Folklore won't be a hassle as it is located in the heart of Belfast city centre. The bus also stops at City Hall, which is within a 2 minute walking distance of the Europa bus and train station too.
