My life revolves around mottos like: 'If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door' and 'Whoever is happy, will make others happy too'. So when a restaurant has as good a motto as: 'In touch with old values, moving with the times', meaning that they keep the best of the old while also providing an up to date outlook - they pretty much have me hooked.
Get a lip-smacking meal for two including two main courses, two sides and two glasses of wine or soft drinks for £13 from Mc Crackens Cafe Bar.
That's a tidy little saving of 51% off the normal value.
I don't know if I should tell you what's on offer as you might drool all over your keyboard. Cover the keyboard as they have shredded duck salad with pak choi, spring onions, chilli rice noodles, soy and lime dressing. If it was me, I'd be going for the scrumptious confit pork belly with apple puree, braised cabbage and onion jus. See GrabOne menu here.
Luckily enough for you, each main course comes with a side. Choose from garlic and herb roasties, honey roast carrots, braised savoy cabbage and more. This really does sound like the tastiest menu we have had in a while. See choice here.
Mc Crackens Café Bar is steeped in history. The Gastro styled pub is situated on Joy's Entry which is one of Belfast's oldest streets and used to be the first main thoroughfare in Belfast city. Mc Crackens itself use to be a thriving brewery serving sailors from all over the world. Now its doors are open to you.
